JOil develops tissue culture technology to propagate elite Jatropha hybrid plants. JOil’s commercial-scale proprietary technology has the potential to obtain hundreds of thousands of true-to-type clones from a single elite hybrid plant within a year.

JOil has been collaborating with tissue culture facilities in Asia and Africa for its small scale contract production of tissue culture seedlings and conducting field trials to evaluate technology capability of potential partners.
