Teo Ming Kian, Chairman
Mr. Teo has served as Permanent Secretary and Executive Chairman in various Government ministries and key agencies such as Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Communication, Ministry of Finance, National Science and Technology Board (renamed later as Agency for Science, Technology and Research), Economic Development Board, and National Research and Development, Prime Minister’s Office. Currently, he is Chairman of the Boards of MediaCorp Pte Ltd, Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd, Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory Ltd and Temasek Life Sciences Ventures Pte Ltd, as well as the Governing Board of the Earth Observatory of Singapore. He also sits on the Boards of Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd, Heptagon Advance Micro-Optics and Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship.
Mr. Teo graduated with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University in Australia and obtained a Master of Science in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States.
Mr. Teo was awarded the Public Administration Medal – Silver, the Public Administration Medal – Gold, the Commander First Class – Royal Order of the Polar Star (Sweden) in 1994, and Singapore Meritorious Service Medal in 2008.
A masters in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, India, he has over 23 years of senior management experience in leading enterprises in the FMCG, Healthcare, Infocomm, and International Trade sectors.
KV Rao was formerly a Director at International Enterprise Singapore (formerly Trade Development Board of Singapore), and had led the Capability Development initiatives of the Board which helped local enterprises to internationalize.
He has proven strengths in corporate strategy and in directing international growth and development of enterprises. He is also experience in setting up JVs, strategic alliances in developing countries and in building global businesses.
Ranjeev Lodha is Vice President & Group Corporate Controller at Tata Chemicals Limited. He joined Tata Chemicals in 2010 as Vice President -Finance. Effective January, 2013 he has moved to the Controlling function prior to which he was responsible for the Treasury, Investor Relations and Strategic Finance functions at Tata Chemicals Limited.
Prior to joining Tata Chemicals, in 2010, Ranjeev was associated with Mahindra & Mahindra as Vice President - Group Accounts where he was responsible for financial reporting and the groups' transition to IFRS. He was also the Finance lead for Project Harmony - the groups' SAP initiative of getting 44 of the operating entities on a common process.
Ranjeev had worked closely with the Fertiliser business of Tata Chemicals during his previous stint in the company from 1991 - 2007.
Ranjeev, a Chartered Accountant, is also a member of the CMA Institute, Australia.
Dr John Chin
Dr John Chin (aka Chin Yih Chong) is a Director of Yenom Holdings and its associated investment companies, in which he oversees both the private equity and the liquid portfolio investments. John also sits on the board of a few investee companies.
Before this, he has worked in quantitative risk management in Standard Chartered Bank, DBS Bank and Insurance Australia Group (Sydney).
John has a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Western Australia.
As a part-time interest, John lectures at the Risk Management Institute of the National University of Singapore.
Mr Peter Chia joined Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL) in 2002 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer.
He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Temasek Life Sciences Ventures Pte Ltd, an investment company set up to commercialize technology developed by TLL.
In addition, he is holding directorship positions in several other companies/organisations, namely, Bioforest Pte Ltd, Tridel Biosciences Pte Ltd, EPIC Bio Pte Ltd, Agri-food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore and as Commissionaire for PT Monfori Nusantara.
